This is an adapter to fit standard UK & European IBC Containers which normally have a 2" BORE, which is a 60mm Buttress/Coarse Thread (measured thread edge to thread edge). More details on IBC fitment are below

It converts the buttress IBC thread to a 32 mm DOUBLE COMPRESSION FITTING which is normally fitted to blue polyethylene tubing for mains water services, but this will fit any pipe where the pipe OD (Outer Diameter) is 32 mm.

Please note that the 32 mm measurement refers to the EXTERNAL Diameter of the pipe and the INTERNAL Diameter of the fitting. This is different to flexible hose pipe where it is the INTERNAL measurement of the pipe that is used because it fits over the fitting rather than slotting into it.

This adapter is also available in 20 mm and 25 mm sizes. Additionally, we also do these in angled versions which are useful when joining tanks together or when you want the pipe to run parallel to the tank.

WILL IT FIT MY TANK?

These adapters will fit most standard UK and European IBC containers where the buttress thread is a coarse S60X6 thread. An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60 mm across from thread edge to thread edge and has a 6 mm pitch (distance between the threads).

If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not) you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will require.
