This is a 3/4" Tank Adapter with a LOCKABLE plated brass easy-action lever tap at the other end. It comes complete with a 3/4" hose fitting for 3/4" (ID) hose pipe.  This adapter provides a fully adjustable on/off tap, allowing you to convert any suitable container into a water butt or add a new or second tap wherever needed. With the addition of a small padlock, you can also protect your water supply from theft and unauthorized use.

INSTALLATION

To install, first drill a hole (25/27 mm diameter) in the desired location. It is important to make sure that you can fit your hand into the tank or drum near the hole, in order to tighten the back nut. Also, ensure that the surface where the hole is being drilled is relatively flat, as a heavily curved surface may not create a watertight seal (a slight contour is acceptable).

After drilling the hole, remove the back nut and rubber sealing washer from the adapter. Push the threaded section through the hole, then place the rubber sealing washer back over the threaded section. Finish by screwing the back nut back on as tightly as possible by hand. Do not over-tighten.
