VAT) Information Specifications Reviews This is a Nylon Lever type Water butt tap with a polypropylene 3/4" male thread. Made from incredibly strong Nylon Easy On / Off Lever action. Also good for flow control The input thread is 3/4" BSP (BSP threads are not the same as ruler measurements, they vary by about 1/4". Please refer to the attached BSP sizing chart if you are unsure) The output consists of a 3/4" BSP thread onto which a 1/2" Barbed hose tail is attached The hose tail is suitable for standard 1/2" (ID) garden hose (can be removed and replaced with alternative tap fittings) Highly resistant to tarnishing or corrosion The Nylon body provides a greater degree of frost protection than a brass tap It will screw directly into any 3/4" Female BSP thread which is the most common thread that you will find on a water butt. A roll of PTFE Plumbers tape is included so that you can make the connection absolutely water tight.
