Water Butt Tap & 1/2" Snap On Hose Connector. 3/4" BSP Thread + Back Nut & Washer
This is a strong polypropylene Water Butt Tap with a 3/4 " BSP Male Thread.  A retaining back nut and sealing washer is included with this item.
The thread is suitable for screwing into an existing 3/4" BSP female thread (this is the most common size used in water butts).  If there is no BSP thread available to screw into you can fit this tap into the wall of most containers by drilling an appropriate sized hole and securing the tap in position using the back nut and sealing washer provided (IMPORTANT.. Make sure that you can access the container to enable the nut to be screwed in place) 
BSP thread sizes are different to ruler measurements (they vary by about 1/4").  If you are unsure refer to the BSP size guide attached.  
The tap has a built in male Snap On connector. 
 Comes complete with a female Snap On hose connector to allow the attachment of a standard 1/2" garden hose.
